APRIL

Software République: mobility revolution, together

Created in April 2021 and is now made up of six major European players: Atos, Dassault Systèmes, JCDecaux, Renault Group, STMicroelectronics and Thales. Their goal : to combine their complementary expertise (automotive, cybersecurity, semiconductors, digital twins, digital transformation, urban furniture) to codevelope and industrialize smart, sustainable, and secure mobility solutions – together

MARCH

Cyber: Detect & Respond 

Renault Group, Thales and Sysgo (specialist in secure embedded systems) have launched “Detect & Respond”, an advanced end-to-end cybersecurity solution

It uses AI and machine learning to detect and neutralize cyber attacks in real time, improving the detection capacity up to 8 times and significantly reducing response times

SEPTEMBER

launch of the SWR accelerator

Software République grew from it’s initial incubator into piloting an incubator dedicated to startups in sustainable, secure, and smart mobility

The objective – to accelerate the transition from concept to industrialization through providing access via its members to industrial expertise, technological platforms, and market deployment capabilities

OCTOBER

Talent Academy 

SWR Talent Academy is intended to attract, train, and retain young talent in key areas: cybersecurity, data, AI, and software for its members

Through a community of apprentices, experts and learning instituions, Software République works towards developing a pool of strategic skills to support innovative projects. 

JUNE

H1st vision

(Human First vision)

 
Software République unveiled its “H1st vision”, a human-centered concept car, incorporating more than 20 technological innovations, eight of which have already been industrialized

This concept demonstrated the ecosystem’s ability to rapidly co-develop real functional solutions around safety, health, connectivity, to offer a human centric user experience

SEPTEMBER

Cyber Apprentices Program

A community of apprentices and cybersecurity experts organized around courses, events, hackathons, conferences, and technical exercises (CTF, white-hat hacking)

A dynamic that strengthens the technical excellence of the ecosystem and promotes the emergence of innovative solutions with high impact

OCTOBER

Prototyping at UC3M University of Madrid 

A prototyping team set up in partnership with UC3M University of Madrid, contributing to the rapid development of technology demonstrators and proofs of concept, accelerating the transition from idea to final product 

January

Virtual Sensors 

 
In collaboration with the startup Compredict, the Software République developed a 100% software solution to predict component ware (tires, brakes, etc.) without the need for additional physical sensors. This technology turns vehicle data into large-scale predictive maintenance. An agreement provides for integration into Renault, Dacia, and Alpine vehicles, with a goal of equipping more than 10 million vehicles by 2030.

PowerBox 

 
PowerBox® became the first bidirectional, connected, and secure EV charging station, to be designed and manufactured in France

Beyond its intelligent charging/decharging capacity, it allows energy to be fed back into the power grid, paving the way for new business models and energy cost optimization

Mobility Observatory 

 
Mobility Observatory is a platform based on multi-source data that combines indicators and cartographic vision to analyze mobility behaviors (destinations, journeys, modal shares, carbon footprint, etc.). Used as a decision-making tool for policy makers and operational teams, and has been succesfylly implemented in the Ile de France region

U1st vision 

 
After H1st vision, the Software République presented its « U1st vision », a modular vehicle concept dedicated to mobile health services and citizen welfare. A concept that marked a strategic shift towards the mobility of services with high social utility, in the case developed: healthcare services

This funtioning concept ultimately gave rise to a commercial offering: Medigo (by Preasens Care) 

FEBRUARY

BYOD

(Bring Your Own Device) 

 
BYOD is orienated at developing mobility functionalities integrated directly into the smartphone, without additional hardware

First deployed with the launch the smartphone app : Dacia Travel Companion, the applied solution helped with detecting driver fatigue and provides seamless integration with existing GPS applications 

JUNE

vision 4rescue 

 
vision 4rescue, an ecosystem of 20 interconnected technological solutions aimed at increasing their efficiency and improving coordination of emergency services in critical situations

Vehicles, drones and urban infrastructures work in an ecosystem co-developed directly with fire brigade units, enabling effective real time communication and analysis to improve coordination and efficiency of in-the-field operations

V2X: « Prevention Collision » 

 
Utilising the latest in V2X technology (vehicle-to-everything), Software République, in collaboration with the start-up EyeNet, Keolis, and the Metropole of Bordeaux developed and succesfully roadtested a smartphone application effectively connecting all road users, providing timely and relevant information to prevent collisions

With a 99% detection rate of potential collisions, and a very high level of satisfaction among the testers, the applicaiton is heading towards full public release
