Software République Call for Projects 2025

The Software République aims to explore for it’s 2025 concept the use of “air space” to improve civil emergency response. In a context of changing lifestyles and climate change, tomorrow’s cities and regions are looking for assistance to innovate, to face tomorrow’s challenges.

Every year, the Software République produces a technological concept, an object exhibited throughout the world, a physical realisation of our vision of future mobility and services.

Our previous concepts H1st vision and U1st vision were built in just 6 months to demonstrate two unique use cases. These enabled the members and partners of the Software République to bring together in an open innovation ecosystem, their technological innovative knowhow via working demonstrators, generating considerable media interest. Both projects have several innovations that are now undergoing industrial scale up. The Software République ecosystem is not just a think tank, it delivers real business, real solutions for real use cases!

For 2025, the Software République ecosystem is looking for partners, startups, entrepreneurs for an innovative and futuristic new project that could contribute to it’s next vision.

There are 3 areas of focus :

Innovative Flying Systems, and Functional Payload
Advanced air/ground devices and payloads enabling new applications with flying objects.

Enhanced Data Analysis and Interpretation Methods
Advanded processing method to facilitate data interpretation. The focus is on advances that improve operational efficiency and enhance collaboration between field operators and command centers.

Technologies for civil protection
Any technologies that can improve detection, warning, prevention and intervention capabilities.

How to apply ?

Before November 15, 2024, we ask you to complete the official form
You will need to send a deck in the following format:

Maximum 10 slides presenting your main activity, your startup, your product, your competitors, your team, milestone/calendar and solution proposed;
Maximum 4 slides on your proposal for “New Vision 2025, »: what are your ideas, the functionalities you want to develop, the customer value you bring, the additional data/assets from the Software République partners you think you will need for your contribution.

What are the benefits ?

Be part of the Software République! You will work on the project described in your application with the partners. If you accept, you will have also the opportunity to join the free incubation program tailored to your needs in order to accelerate your development. More information here

Who can apply ?

Any startup that feels able to provide a technical offer to the proposed challenge. The solution should be in a developed maturity with potential needs for adaptation.

In the second phase of the Call for Projects you will be asked to show what you can do. This can be with an existing product that has a similar technology, or with a prototype of your proposal, to be demonstrated in the first phase of the Call for Projects.
